Executive Assistant
in Philanthropy
T serves as executive assistant to foundation executives and philanthropic leaders. Current contract through Rockefeller Philanthropic Advisors (RPA) ↗ supporting G4GC — Grantmakers for Girls of Color ↗, and their mission of reinvesting in the ecosystems of youth.

Policy, Technical
& Advisory Work
T provides policy consultation and technical assistance to organizations building or reforming programs that serve survivors, youth, and communities affected by trafficking and exploitation. Current engagements include work through Uplift Strategies LLC on the Taylor Initiative through TN DCS (Tennessee Department of Children’s Services), and consulting work with the Wellesley Centers for Women ↗. She also serves as a consultant to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children ↗.

Curriculum
Development
T builds training curriculum from the ground up for organizations that need programming grounded in lived experience and proven practice, not theory alone. She co-authored and runs a weekly cohort facilitating Coconut Wireless at Pearl Haven Hawaii ↗.

From a petition that changed the Associated Press Style Guide to federal legislation, T's advocacy has moved from testimony into statute — and the list keeps growing.
No Such Thing Campaign
Launched a successful advocacy campaign on Change.org alongside Rights4Girls to eliminate the use of the term “child prostitute” in the Associated Press Style Guide, effecting major media outlets. The petition reached over 170,000 signatures, including shares from numerous celebrities.
Preventing Sex Trafficking and Strengthening Families Act (HR 4980)
Worked with Congresswoman Karen Bass to improve the child welfare system’s response to trafficking, mandating that child welfare systems develop protocols to address child sex trafficking.
Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act (JVTA)
Directly testified and contributed to this federal act, which holds individuals who purchase commercial sex acts from children liable under the federal human trafficking statute and creates increased funding for victim services nationwide.
Californians Against Sexual Exploitation Act (Proposition 35)
Official cosigner of the proposition alongside a coalition of advocates to pass legislation increasing accountability for traffickers, mandating law enforcement training on human trafficking, and improving services for trafficking victims in California.
